Michigan State Fair Ticket Pricing Options:
Enhanced PARKING options available on first come first serve basis at NO CHARGE.
Ultimate Admission - $42.00
Includes Fair Admission, Unlimited Carnival Rides and Circus Performances
Fair Admission - $10.00
Includes admission into the Fair only --- NO CARNIVAL RIDES OR CIRCUS PERFORMANCES
CHILDREN 2 & UNDER ARE FREE FOR FAIR ADMISSION ONLY, RIDES ARE NOT FREE,
YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL RIDE TICKETS OR UPGRADE TO AN
ULTIMATE WRISTBAND TO HAVE YOUR CHILD RIDE THE RIDES.
UPGRADES
Upgrades are available at designated upgrade booths within the Fairgrounds
only. No advance upgrades will be sold.
Upgrades will not be available at the box office upon entry.
If you’re having fun walking around and change your mind and decide you want to experience an attraction you didn’t originally pay for, don’t worry we will have locations on the grounds where you can purchase an upgrade for an additional cost.
Fair Admission upgrading to Ultimate Admission - $37.00
Ticket booths will be located throughout the fairgrounds selling Ultimate Admission Wristbands. The best deal is to purchase them at the box office before entering the fair if you plan to ride multiple rides or see the Detroit Shrine Circus.
Fair Admission upgrading to see the Circus - $22.00
Tickets will be available for sale for the Detroit Shrine Circus at the entrance to the circus tent for $22.00 for one ticket to one circus performance on the day of purchase.
Carnival Rides Only - $1.50 per ticket or 22 tickets for $30.00 or a Family Pack of 50 for $60.00
Ticket booths will be located throughout the fairgrounds selling individual ride tickets. Each carnival ride takes 3-5 tickets per person per ride.

Compliments of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network, Seniors age 62+ will enjoy a day of State Fair Fun with free Fair Admission! (Does not include Carnival Rides or Circus admission)
This option allows you to enter and view all of our indoor exhibits, livestock, agriculture, home arts displays and demonstrations as well as participate in all of the contests. In addition, you can experience the long running tradition of the C.F Burger Creamery Butter Cow, Guernsey's Endless Cup of Chocolate Milk - plus all the entertainment stages throughout the fair. This does not entitle you to ride carnival rides or enter the Shrine Circus Performance area.
If you wish to participate in the Senior Day Program you must register here, no walk-in's will be welcome for this special event as space is limited.
Scouts: Any Boy Scout, Cub Scout, Girl Scout, Brownie etc..in uniform will be allowed FREE FAIR Admission on Thursday.
Veterans & Active Military: Any Veteran or Active Military member must show ID or proof of status to receive FREE FAIR Admission on Thursday.
4-H: Any 4-H member must show ID or proof of 4-H membership to receive FREE FAIR Admission on Thursday.

You may upgrade this admission ticket to the Ultimate Admission and enjoy the Carnival Midway Rides & the Detroit Shrine Circus for $37.00 inside the fair only. Or if you do not wish to ride any Carnival Rides, you may upgrade at the Circus tent to view the Circus only for $22.00.
